Rongoā Māori workshop

Discover the traditions of Rongoā Rākau in this hands-on workshop exploring Māori plant-based healing. Learn key principles, native plant identification, and how these taonga are gathered and used.

We’ll also share a practical kōrero connecting Rongoā Rākau with the landscapes around us. Learn how these plants can help stabilise stream edges, reduce erosion, and support the land to absorb heavy rainfall - protecting our awa while creating habitats for native biodiversity.

This session offers a chance to connect with te taiao and be part of building a more resilient future.
