Room to Play Kids' Youth Scratch Night
Event description
Presented by Room to Play Kids, The Youth Stratch Night is a monthly youth open mic event held in Paddington in which youth aged 6-18 can share a song, story, poem, theatre piece or art that they've created for the community in a safe, supportive environment. It will be facilitated by Virag Dombay, the director of Room to Play Kids.Â
Please note:Â Our next Youth Scratch Night is on the 4th of August.
This event will provide a platform for youth to share their stories and pieces of art that are meaningful to them. Standing up on stage and sharing their art will nurture their confidence, imagination and creativity - all vital skills to have in our twenty-first century world which youth can apply to their learning at school. It will create not only a collaborative environment between the performers but between the members of the community.
If your youth is interested in performing at our scratch night please send Virag an email at virag@roomtoplay.com.au or alternatively, just rock up with everything you need on the night :)
