ROOMS - Year 10 South Drama Production

ROOMS, written by Karen Houghton, is a kaleidoscope of adolescence, exploring the experiences of teenagers growing up from the 1960s through to 2026.

One bedroom. Ten stories. Generations of teenagers.

As the decades pass, the room remains the same, but the people, music, fashion and world outside its walls continue to change. Through ten unique stories, we journey across generations, exploring first romances, friendships, heartbreak, difficult truths, and the challenges of growing up.

This coming-of-age production invites audiences to reflect on the teenage experience, reminding us that while the world around us is constantly changing, the emotions, struggles and milestones of adolescence remain remarkably familiar.
