Rooney acknowledges the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who are Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia. We particularly acknowledge the Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri peoples of the Kulin Nation, upon whose land Rooney largely operates and where the event will be held. We recognise the important connection of First Peoples to land, water and community, and pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
