Root & Restore: Herbal Nervous System Support for Artists and Creatives : : : POSTPONED UNTIL SEPTEMBER ~~ STAY TUNED FOR NEW DATE

Running a creative practice asks a lot of us.

Whether you're making art, building a small business, freelancing, holding community, or juggling all of the above, it's easy to find yourself caught between inspiration and exhaustion. Burnout, brain fog, restless sleep, anxiety, creative blocks and an always-on nervous system have become almost expected parts of modern creative life.

But they don't have to be.

Join herbalist Lucy for an afternoon exploring the remarkable plants that support nervous system health and sustainable creativity. Together we'll learn about gentle herbal allies that can help us regulate stress, deepen rest, improve focus, replenish depleted energy and cultivate the conditions where creativity can flourish.

This is not about hustling harder. It's about tending the ecosystem that makes meaningful work possible.

Together we'll explore:

Herbs that support stress, anxiety and nervous system regulation
Plant allies for sleep, burnout and brain fog
Supporting focus, clarity and creative flow
Simple ways to incorporate herbs into everyday life
Learn how to make a relaxing nervine tincture to have on hand whenever you need it

Lucy is a herbalist and founder of Earth Roots Apothcaría whose roots run deep across two countries and two continents, having run a clinical practice in Argentina before relocating to Dja Dja Wurrung Country, where she is slowly and lovingly rebuilding her apothecary from the ground up.

She completed her first formal herbalism studies the same year she became a mother, and ever since, plants have been steadfast companions through both the beauty and complexity of life. Lucy has a particular affinity for herbs that nourish the nervous system and has witnessed how they can become profound allies—not only for our bodies, but for our whole beings—inviting us to slow down, listen more deeply, and return to relationship with the living world.

This is for you if:

You're an artist, maker, musician or creative entrepreneur feeling stretched by the demands of modern work.
You're experiencing burnout, brain fog, anxiety or poor sleep.
You long for sustainable ways to care for your nervous system without pushing through.
You're curious about herbal medicine and the wisdom of plants.
You want your creativity to emerge from a place of vitality rather than depletion.
You're seeking practical tools to support both your wellbeing and your creative practice.
You'd love to spend an evening in good company, learning alongside other thoughtful, creative humans.

Come along for an afternoon of practical knowledge, conversation and connection. Leave with a deeper understanding of the plants growing beside us and how they might support a more resilient, creative and life-giving way of working.
