ABOUT Rooted in Memory
The Esplanade Association is excited to announce an outdoor lights display, called Rooted in Memory created by Stories & Spaces and produced by Illuminus Boston!
Nature holds memories beyond our own, etched in tree rings and rooted deep in the strata of soil and rock. "Rooted in Memory" is a series of site-specific installations along the Esplanade that utilize projection mapping and spatial audio to inspire us to be present with the collective memory of moments and millennia in this place, held by ourselves, each other, the trees, and the landscape.
All events will feature a 8-12 minute audio & light show located at the Charles Eliot Memorial Garden, right outside of Community Boating, Inc.
Please note that the location and details are subject to change due to weather so please follow for updates by registering or following us!
We will also have FREE non-alcoholic refreshments and small treats for you to enjoy as you take in the show.
