Join us for a hands-on field day to improve pasture performance, build soil health knowledge, and explore strategies for stronger, more productive pastures.
Event Description:
This insightful field day will be led by Joel Williams of Integrated Soil, a renowned expert in soil health and plant nutrition.
The event will showcase sown tropical pastures, mixed species blends, and kikuyu-based pastures. We will examine the soil profiles and root architecture using soil pits, and explore tailored foliar fertilising of our pastures.
You will learn about:
Root systems: Understand the architecture and soil interaction of various pasture species.
Soil Health: Identify and troubleshoot soil constraints affecting plant performance.
Foliar fertility: Learn how to use foliar fertiliser based on tissue testing and measure short-term responses.
A similar workshop is also being held in Gloucester.
