Event description

Magdalena and Angela joined their talents to unite cultures in an extraordinary evening that will enchant the audience with diverse melodies, harmonies, and rhythms, creating a symphony that transcends boundaries and celebrates the beauty of cultural fusion.

Let the universal language of music transport you to new horizons of Latin America, fostering a profound delivery of stories, igniting emotions, and showcasing some of the best old and contemporary composers of all times.

Accompanied by the amazing musicians Ricardo Cancino on guitar and Byron Mark on piano and percussion, these two powerful women will leave you with a sense of joy and magic.

Angela Rosero is a Colombian artist who has captivated Australian audiences by combining her talents of acting and singing. Lead singer of the well-loved Sydney dance band CUMBIAMUFFIN, Angela is known for her powerful performance on stage and enjoyable repertoire. She is known for her strong interest in showcasing female singers and composers, reason why she was selected to be part of SSI Sydney delegation for the Australian Woman in Music Awards in 2019. With a mix between jazz, bolero, trova and more, Angela takes audiences on a magical journey through Hispanic-American music, engaging her followers with her romanticism, sensuality, and talent.

Chilean vocalist Magdalena Mira has lived in Australia for over a decade, where she has focused on her love of Latin and Jazz music. She has the unique ability to absorb and express music from her culture as well as others, creating a very interesting hybrid. Founder and front-person of Afro-Peruvian band MIRA and a member of the jazz and Brazilian duo with guitarist Guy Strazz, this versatile artist shines through her heartfelt performances, soulful melodies, and intricate rhythms. Magdalena is not only a singer but a channeller of musical cultures.
