Roots & Shoots Living with Nature - Plants for Wildlife
Event description
Back by popular demand! We are so excited to bring you part two on how we can promote and protect the native wildlife in our own backyard, please join Dr Jane Goodall's Roots & Shoots Program and Environmental Scientist and Ecologist, Mr Daniel Reid for LIVING WITH NATURE - PLANTS FOR WILDLIFE!
Let us show you all the amazing, unique and diverse native plants that you can grow in your garden, that will help provide food, shelter and enjoyment to our native wildlife that live alongside us in the suburbs.
Learn how to attract bees, butterflies and other pollinators to your garden, provide shelter and food for birdlife, small mammals, owls and lizards. We will have some wonderful native plants on display and for you to purchase on the day, kindly provided by the Crows Nest Nursery. There will also be information about Dr Jane Goodall and her Roots & Shoots Program and displays of the habitats the 'visitors' to your backyard may use!
This exciting and informative presentation will be held at the Toowoomba City Library Community Rooms, Level 3, on Sunday July 18th 2021 from 11.30 - 12.30pm.
