ABOUT ROSE PEDAL SALOON

In this country it is quite a rare event to see a pedal steel guitar on stage, and even rarer for it to appear in a jazz line-up. This group features one of Australia’s masters of that instrument, Michel Rose, along with Jamie Clark (guitar), Helen Russell (bass/vocals) and Kym Ambrose (drums). Michel’s career has seen him playing with not only a long list of country luminaries such as Troy Cassar Daly and Beccy Cole, but also swinging it with the Feral Swing Katz and Australian all-star jazz group The Catholics. The group will be presenting some jazz classics with a little country swing on the side.

Refund policy

If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms and are unable to attend after having purchased a ticket, please contact the JMI office (07) 3216 1110 or email play@jazz.qld.edu.au) as soon as possible during business hours (10AM-4PM) to let us know you won’t be able to attend. A full refund will be given if we are contacted prior to a performance. Refunds will not be processed if we are contacted after the gig.
