Mini Lecture: Advances in Dog Welfare and Behaviour
University of Adelaide Roseworthy Campus, Council Room

University of Adelaide SET Faculty
Event description
Our research has covered puppies right through to older dogs in their twilight years. Raising puppies can be hard, and in a recent PhD study we worked out a way to measure the stress of puppy raising. As dogs age, they can get dementia in the same way that people do, and a current PhD project is investigating if physical and scent-based exercises can help older dogs with early dementia. We’ll discuss these and other research studies that will help us to understand our dogs better, and ourselves.
Featuring Associate Professor Susan Hazel.
The council room can be found at H8 on the Roseworthy Campus map.
