The Rotary Club of Burleigh Heads warmly invites you to a special breakfast honouring Rotary International President(2026–27) Olayinka Hakeem Babalola. This unique occasion brings together Rotarians, community leaders, and friends of Rotary to welcome a visionary global leader while celebrating a milestone in our club’s own history — our 70th anniversary.

A Morning of Inspiration & Celebration

President-elect Babalola will share his vision for Rotary’s future as we look ahead to his term beginning 1 July 2026. In the spirit of World Polio Day (24 October), $5 from each ticket will be donated to the End Polio Now campaign, in his honour.

Seats are limited — book early to secure your place at this historic celebration of Rotary leadership, community, and global service. Only 100 seats are available.

About President - elect Olayinka Hakeem Babalola

Babalola is a proud member of the Rotary Club of Trans Amadi, Nigeria. His Rotary journey began as a Rotaractor in 1984, later joining Trans Amadi in 1994. Over three decades, he has served with distinction, including roles as District Governor (2011–12) and Rotary International Vice President (2019–20).

A passionate advocate for peace and community development, Babalola has played a pivotal role in establishing the Rotary Peace Centre at Makerere University in Uganda and has championed polio eradication efforts across Africa. Professionally, he is both an engineer and attorney with more than 25 years’ experience in the oil and gas sector, holding senior leadership roles with Shell PLC. He is also the founder of Riviera Services Ltd. and Lead and Change Consulting.
