Peter was raised in a volunteering family, which inspired his early community involvement. In 2002, while working with a local Basketball Association, he connected with the Rotary Club of Altona and successfully pitched for funding to establish two senior Rep teams.

Peter joined Rotary Altona in May 2003. Since then, he has served as President four times and held nearly every Club role. At the District level, he has been Assistant Governor four times and contributed to multiple committees. He’s also known as the "man in black," stage-managing several District Conferences.

Professionally, Peter brings his skills in administration, project management, and customer service to his current role on the management team at Queen Victoria Market, where he has worked since 2013.

 Peter says 'Acknowledging that our members are our greatest asset and our greatest opportunity to use their skills and connections to increase our impact.  Together we can explore the ability to better to collaborate with each other, with other clubs and other groups to achieve the best outcome. We don't need to work harder we need to work smarter and unlock the opportunity that collaboration brings.'
