The Melbourne Arts Precinct already has one of the highest concentrations of arts, cultural and creative organisations anywhere in the world – and presents up to 3000 performances and exhibitions in a typical year. The finished project will attract millions more cultural tourists every year, and it will transform both Southbank and the city.

The Melbourne Arts Precinct Transformation project is aiming to have 95% of the materials removed from 77 Southbank Boulevard reused or recycled?
The new contemporary art and design gallery, The Fox: NGV Contemporary will be the largest gallery dedicated to contemporary art and design in Australia, hosting internationally significant works of art and exhibitions. We look forward to seeing this extraordinary new building come to life and hearing from the Deputy CEO charged with the transformation.
