Dr. Coco Xiaolu Ma holds a PhD in Creative Writing from Australia and is a bilingual (Mandarin and English) creative writer and producer who possesses an innate understanding of the creative side of film, including story, cross-cultural contexts, international audiences, as well as equity financing and international distribution. 

Dr. Ma was the former All Media Director at Motion Picture Association (MPA) in China, in charge of MPA theatrical affairs, government relations, and marketing access for Hollywood major studios in the Chinese market.  Meanwhile, she holds credits in numerous international co-productions as a screenwriter, producer, and key crew member. 

Dr. Ma served as a producer on the feature film BLACKLIGHT and BETTER MAN, is listed to produce a slate of international film and television projects with Cosmos Pictures.
