Annually the Rotary Club of Melbourne recognises up to three young Victorians for their Community Service and Vocational or Scholarly achievements. The 2025 presentation will be made by Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, Governor of Victoria following a short address. On the day we will hear from the awardees of their ambitions and hopes for their continuing service to the Community.

Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC is the 30th Governor of Victoria and the second woman to hold the role. Prior to her appointment in 2023, she was President and Vice-Chancellor of Monash University and previously led RMIT University. A distinguished economist and academic leader, she has held senior roles across Australian universities and served on numerous national boards. In recognition of her service to education and leadership, she has been appointed both an Officer and a Companion of the Order of Australia.
