Henry Dwyer is a well known Australian horse trainer who had a major win in the UK last year with his horse Asfoora. Henry will tell us about the historic win in the King Charles III Stakes at Royal Ascot and his meeting with the Monarch. We may also be able to get his views on the Melbourne Cup Carnival as well as the big race itself.

Considered one of Australian racing's rising stars, the Melbourne University Commerce graduate began his career mucking out boxes at Flemington before swapping textbooks for thoroughbreds at Marcus Oldham College. Henry cut his teeth as Assistant Trainer to Robert Smerdon and later at Macedon Lodge, where he played a role in Green Moon’s 2012 Melbourne Cup win. After an international study tour through the world’s great racing centres, he returned home to launch his own stables at Ballarat and St Leonards. Renowned for turning unfancied horses into champions, Henry has already tasted Group 1 success with Sonntag in the Queensland Derby and Precious Gem in the Sangster Stakes as well as the notable recent success at Royal Ascot.
