Rotary's latest peace-building initiative is to establish cohorts of Positive Peace Activators globally. There are now 260 Positive Peace Activators in 7 geographical regions; North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia, West and Central Africa, East Africa, and Oceania. The Oceania Activators formed in April '24 with the Rotary Club of Sydney as the dominant participating Rotary Club. 3 Rotary Club of Sydney members, 1 past RCS member, and 2 RCS Peace Fellows were part of this cohort of 48 activators.
