The dynamic Victor Perton is formerly the Victorian Government’s Commissioner to the Americas, and is more recently Founder and Chief Optimism Officer of the Centre for Optimism. We will discuss “The Case for Optimism the impact of Positive Leadership”.
There is perhaps not a better time to hear about optimism. In the current negativity of the floods and the global economy, Victor will help us view life through an optimistic lens.
The Centre for Optimism is the product of a lifetime of optimism, 4 years of research on Australian leadership and two years of asking people "what makes you optimistic?". The evidence is there to suggest that large parts of the western world are caught up in a fog of pessimism. The Centre's purpose is to help people find their own source of optimism and to be infectious optimists.
