Event description

Join us for the 12th annual Rowlo's Golf Day at the Headlands Golf Club in Buderim. Ticket price includes sausage sizzle breakfast, green fees for 18 holes of golf, twin share golf cart and lunch. Cash bar for drinks on the course and at the clubhouse .

Registration and sausage sizzle and coffee from 7am for a shotgun start at 8am. Lunch and presentations are at the clubhouse from 1pm - 4pm. Everyone is welcome to stay on and enjoy the view.

All of the money raised in Rowlo's honour will be donated to the Nerve Connection Foundation to be utilised specifically for rare neurological disease research, in particular MND. All money raised will help fund ongoing fellowships and clinical trials. Dr Rob Henderson and the board of the Nerve Connection Foundation are very grateful for this support and we hope to hear from Rob on the day.

We were a young family when Mark “Rowlo” was diagnosed by Dr Robert Henderson in 2006. For 7 1/2 years, we loved hard, we played hard and we fought hard against MND. Mark was passionate about supporting MND research and along with being involved in monthly visits to the hospital for research purposes, he wanted to create a greater awareness of this insidious disease and help raise funds for research. Together in 2012, we held our inaugural Rowlo’s Golf Day and we have continued to honour his mission in his memory. My family & I are proud to be hosting our 12th Rowlo’s Golf Day, as we continue to support the vital work of Dr Robert Henderson and his research team.
