Rozelle Community Childcare Centre 40th Anniversary Celebration

Join us as we mark a major milestone: 40 years of Rozelle Community Childcare Centre!

Whether you are a current RCCC family, an alumni student or parent from decades past, a former educator, or a local neighbour, we would love for you to join us for a fun-filled, family-friendly celebration at Callan Park.

Event Details:

• Date: Saturday, 14 November 2026

• Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Formalities start at 11:30 AM)

• Location: Callan Park (Grass area located downhill from the Spanish War Memorial)

• Cost: Free admission (RSVP required for planning purposes).

Event Highlights:

• Family-Friendly Fun (10:00 AM – 12:30 PM): Face painting, live acoustic music, and a special Scavenger Hunt organised in collaboration with the Greater Sydney Parklands Bush School Rangers.

• Memory Lane Exhibition: Explore our curated photo wall and historical timeline showcasing 40 years of RCCC history (1986–2026), and sign our "Share Your Memory" guestbook.

• Formal Proceedings (11:30 AM – 12:00 PM): Welcome to Country, guest speakers, a "Happy Birthday" sing-a-long, official cake cutting, and a giant community group photo!

• Food & Treats: Coffee van and bakery cart parked nearby, plus complimentary birthday cake for all!

Important Attendee Information:

• Parking & Getting There: On-site parking at Callan Park is very limited. We strongly encourage attendees to walk, cycle, or use public transport. If driving, please allow extra time to locate street parking in the surrounding neighbourhood.

• Wet Weather Plan: In the event of rain, outdoor activities will move indoors to the main RCCC rooms. Updates will be emailed via Humanitix.

• Sustainability: We are committed to running a low-waste event! Please make use of the marked recycling, organic waste, and general waste stations on the day.
