Parramatta Mission has been dedicated to assisting the most disadvantaged in our community for over 50 years. We open our doors each day to individuals as well as families from all walks of life who may be facing crisis or hardship in regards to food, housing, mental and physical health, and other necessities required on a day-to-day basis. Meals Plus is our Community Centre, located in the heart of Parramatta, where people who may be experiencing homelessness, facing crisis, living with mental health issues or facing isolation and disadvantage can find assistance. We currently serve around 250 meals per day to those in need.
Parramatta Mission hosted its inaugural Rich Person/Poor Person Fundraising Dinner in 2023 with great success. Last year it was a corporate event, but this year we will be recreating the event as a family experience and we invite you to be a part of this unique evening. The minimum age recommendation is 13 yrs.
This event is an opportunity for us all to put ourselves in the shoes of those experiencing homelessness and disadvantaged, and to better understand the challenges they face.
It will definitely be a night you won't forget.
