Teaching is both stressful and rewarding, yet sometimes it feels like we are running in circles. The meetings are endless, admin requirements increasing and student needs demanding. If the system won’t change, how can we find our way through the maze to engage, inspire and connect ourselves and others. Positive Psychology has emerged to provide us with simple yet practical strategies to feel good and function well
In this program we;
- Discuss the global stressors for teachers and their impact on health and wellbeing.
- Unpack the 5 dimensions of wellbeing and their relevance for school staff
- Explore the myth of work-life balance
- Find ways to manage our inner critic
Daniela Falecki, founder of Teacher Wellbeing, is known as the “keep-it-real” teacher, specializing in Positive Psychology to empower teachers with hope, resilience & efficacy.
With more than 20 years’ experience in government and independent schools in Australia, Daniela has a Masters in Education (Leadership), a Bachelor of Education (HPE), a Certificate in Rudolf Steiner Education, is a licensed Mental Toughness practitioner, certified Life Coach and NLP Practitioner and member of the International Coach Federation and International Positive Psychology Association.
Daniela also lectured at Western Sydney University for 10 years and was named lecturer of the year 2014.
