Richmond Union Bowls Club Charity Day - Nov 15th 2026

Every year, the lives of thousands of Aussies are saved and transformed through the

generosity of organ and tissue donors and their families.

This national DonateLife Thank You Day, RUBC is getting involved to reflect and

celebrate those who make donation possible!

We are doing it the best way we know how - with a day of lawn bowls!

Social bowlers are highly encouraged to get involved, and spectators are welcome to

come along. Get your team of three together, and book your spot today.

• Funds raised (minus event costs – we are keeping these as low as we can!)

will be donated to the Royal Melbourne Hospital, to proudly support the

great work they do in transplant care.

• We will have raffles and games to raise some extra funds, so bring your coins

  and cash to get involved.

• DonateLife will be on board throughout the day to help answer any questions

you might have about donation, and registering as an organ and tissue donor.

Cost: The entry fee is $60 for a team (this works out at $20 per person). Spectators

are welcome to come and watch free of charge, so bring your friends and family!

Experience Required: None! This event is certainly open to social bowlers. We will

have some RUBC team members available on the day to help out if you get stuck.

Food and Drinks Available: For a gold coin donation, you can grab a snag at our

event sausage sizzle! The Hippie Whippy (soft serve and gelati van) will be

attending, with ice creams available for purchase throughout the day. They are

generously donating a portion of sales to the RMH. For spectators, our bistro is open

as per usual for Sunday roast between 12 and 3pm. Our bar will be open (alcoholic

and non-alcoholic beverages available). Please do not bring your own alcoholic

beverages.

Refund Policy: Tickets are non-refundable. The exception is if the event is

cancelled, where you will receive a full refund! In the unlikely event that our charity

day is postponed, we will transfer your booking to the new date, or refund your entry

fee on request.
