RUBC Helping Athletes Transition
Event description
Event description
Facing challenges in career transitioning are immense. Helping our families and friends can be quite emotional. If you have observed Match Fit, former All Blacks trained and were supported in their mental and physical challenges in preparation for our Barbarians game.
Retiring from sports means leaving the structure and consistency that a Professional Rugby career provides. You go from being in the limelight on a weekly basis and possibly earning the salary of Executives three times your age, to no longer being part of the fast paced world at the top of the game. The challenges are immense.
RUBC will be hosting another event to support retired athletes and have lined up some fantastic former International Rugby players and professionals. Speaking about their Rugby careers, mental and physical wellbeing, and how they transitioned into their careers and business. RUBC helps Athletes into business and these events showcase their business and how we can help by networking. We will be supporting Movember events with men’s Mental health and here is link. All donations go to Movember for helping mens mental and physical health problems.
