Ruby Jackson with the Ben Hauptmann Trio 24 August 2025

Ruby Jackson is one of the most exciting singers to emerge on the Sydney Jazz Scene over the last few years. Not because she is flashy and gymnastic in her vocal abilities, - quite the opposite in fact. Ruby is a master musical story teller and spell weaver, and she takes the listener on a love affair journey through the revered jazz song world, where hidden beauty lies and is gently revealed.

Ruby will be performing with the Ben Hauptmann trio, consisting of the enormously talented and prodigious Ben Hauptmann on guitar and with the wonderfully sensitive and essentially groovy James Hauptmann on drums and Jonathan Zwartz on double bass.

Church St Studios is a small room with a warm and intimate atmosphere, but seating is limited so don't miss out, book early.
