Event description

Ruby's Summer Fiesta

featuring: Karifi, The Glorious Sousaphonics ft. Nadya Golski, Worlds Collide

A free daytime event featuring a spectacular selection of culturally diverse music. Pack a picnic, and join us on the grass for this invigorating summer soundtrack.

Bring a drum and play along with Karifi’s traditional African rhythms or dance to the Balkan Gypsy horns of The Glorious Sousaphonics, who will be joined by legendary vocalistNadya Golski.

Not to be outdone, Worlds Collide delivers both the thunderous attack of a rock & roll band and the contemplative vibrations of Sufi-inspired hip hop. Infused with global percussion, eastern melodies and lyrics from the streets of Mt Druitt, the group launch their debut album 'Emergency' with infectious grooves that will invite you to move your body!

This family-friendly triple bill of cross-cultural music is curated by the Cultural Arts Collective and features a massive musical finale – hearing is believing!

2:00 - 2:40 pm | Karifi’s Traditional African Drumming
3:00 - 3:40 pm | The Glorious Sousaphonics
4:00 - 5:00 pm | Worlds Collide

Wine and cocktails to be exclusively provided by 107 Projects. BYO alcohol is not permitted.
