Rug Punching

Rug hooking with the Oxford Rug Punch tool.

Students will learn the basics of rug punching as they create a sweet little 7” MN silhouette that can be finished in a variety of ways.  This simple technique has the same outcome as rug hooking and requires no sewing skills or prior experience.

 The kit includes the pre-drawn design on a linen foundation,  pre-cut 100% wool strips, a 14”x16” piece of wool for the background in your choice of color,  as well as patterns and basic directions.  A variety of finishing techniques will also be taught in class.

The use of all tools needed to learn the technique will be provided by the teacher, but are not included in the kit fee.  Supplies will be available for purchase if desired after class.
