Rumbie Mutsiwa -The Curl Movement

Rumbie Mutsiwa (pronounced: “Room-B” “Moo-tseewah”) is the Director and Founder of Rumbie & Co. - a curl specialising brand with a salon, product line and an academy for consumers and professionals.

Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Rumbie now calls Australia home. She went against the grain of being a “professional” and found her calling in curly hair. From working on clients in her lounge room to building a curl empire, her love for building the confidence of wavy, curly and afro haired people is an unparalleled obsession.

Rumbie has become a celebrity stylist working with the likes of Natalie Portman, Sabrina Elba, FKA Twigs, Yemi Alade to name a few. Her work has been featured in numerous magazines including Vogue, Marie Claire, Refinery 29 and Urbanlist. She is also a Creative Artist for GHD and has worked with brands like Dior, Mecca and many more.

All of this was born from one dream ! The goal…. simplifying curly hair for hairdressers. This is a culture defying Look & Learn session on cutting and styling curly hair.
