Rural Intern Awards - Gippsland

These awards celebrate four junior doctors who have demonstrated outstanding commitment and clinical excellence while working in Gippsland, as well as a senior clinician who has gone above and beyond in mentoring doctors in training. It’s a fantastic initiative to highlight the strength of rural training in our region, support our future medical workforce, and ensure our health services are recognised for nurturing top talent.

The four award categories are:

• Intern of the Year

• PGY2 / PGY3 of the Year

• Registrar of the Year

• Medical Educator / Clinical Supervisor

Each recipient will be awarded a certificate and a $250 cash prize.
