Rural Support Trust's Time Out Tour - Aotea/Great Barrier Island
Event description
The Rural Support Trust, in proud partnership with ANZ, Bayleys, BDO, Datamars Livestock, Fonterra, and Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI), are excited to bring the Time Out Tour to Aotea / Great Barrier Island May 30th, 2024!
The Rural Support Trust has partnered with Matt Chisholm to help rural communities continue the conversation about mental health. With the support of the regional Rural Support Trusts across New Zealand, we’re once again bringing Matt to a rural venue near you.Â
Chisholm has had personal experience of mental health struggles, and the Time Out Tour gives him a chance to share with rural communities how he found a way through.Â
- Learn about how Matt found a way through his mental health challenges.Â
- Hear about ways rural communities can support each another.Â
- Hear about what tools he uses to help manage his anxiety and remain mentally fit for life and what tools are out there and how we can help other people struggling.Â
- Prepare to be entertained along the way while catching up with rural people in your community.
TV presenter turned sheep and beef farmer, Matt Chisholm, has signed on to be the inaugural Ambassador for the Rural Support Trust. Now he's on a nationwide tour talking to rural communities on the topic of mental wellness and resilience.
Through captivating storytelling, Matt shares the good, the bad, and the questionable experiences he’s faced on his unpredictable journey to date, and the little things he’s learnt along the way.Â
