About DuMOL Winery

Founded in 1996 in the heart of Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley, DuMOL is widely recognized as one of California’s premier boutique producers of cool-climate Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Syrah. What sets DuMOL apart is its relentless "vineyard-first" philosophy led by longtime chief winegrower Andy Smith. By meticulously farming tight-spaced estate sites and partnering with legendary local growers, DuMOL produces small-lot wines focused on terroir, freshness, and structural balance. Practicing minimal-intervention winemaking—using native fermentations and unfined/unfiltered cellar work—DuMOL crafts highly nuanced, elegant wines that stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the finest Grand Crus of the world.
