RUSU International Department Cheese Social

Event description

Exclusive Free Event: Discover Australian Cheese & Connect with Fellow International Students!

RUSU has teamed up with The Cheese Social to bring you an exclusive FREE event that’s all about connection and fun! In Australia, a cheese platter isn’t just about the cheese—it’s a way to bring people together, share stories, and make new friends.

Join us for a 3-hour session at Dairy Hall, Queen Victoria Market, where you'll:

  1. Learn about Australian cheese culture and key local cheesemakers.
  2. Taste 6-8 delicious Australian cheeses.
  3. Explore how to pair cheese with beverages and local condiments.
  4. Curate your very own cheeseboard.

The session is led by RMIT alumnus Hakim Halim, Ripe’s founder, who has been using food to build connections since moving to Melbourne 14 years ago. This event is perfect for international students looking to learn, socialize, and have a great time.

Don’t miss out—reserve your spot now for this unique opportunity to connect with other international students and dive into the world of Australian cheese!

*Please meet at the RUSU Front Desk in Building 12 at 1pm*
