RWAV Conference 2026: Student Careers Event

Connect, explore, and thrive at RWAV's free Student Careers Event. Build your network, uncover exciting rural and regional healthcare careers, and tap into valuable grants and support.

RWAV’s annual conference, Beyond Boundaries & Building Futures in Rural Healthcare is excited to welcome secondary and tertiary students, as well as career-changers to this free Student Careers Event designed especially for students who are ready to take the next step.

The event will spotlight the wide range of pathways into healthcare. You’ll hear directly from recent health graduates, chat with industry reps at interactive trade tables showcasing health professions, grants and student support options, and level up your employability with a professional headshot booth and resume tips.

From 5pm, tertiary students can exclusively stay on for the RWAV Conference Networking Event, where you’ll be personally introduced to experienced health professionals by RWAV staff. It’s a unique chance to build genuine connections, find mentors, and gain real-world insights into working in rural healthcare.
