Ryan Martin John GRIDLOCK Single Launch @ the Grace Emily

Ryan Martin John releases his third single of 2022 'Gridlock' at the Grace Emily with his full band. Expect indie folk flair with a sizeable amount of alt-country flavour peppered throughout the night. 

Gridlock is the final single before RMJ gears up to release his debut full length album 'Goodness Gracious Graceless' in 2023. The song itself is a folky moment of late night pondering; a meandering terrain all too familiar for RMJ. 

Support acts will be the incredible singer songwriters Nancy Bates and Ella Ion.

Nancy Bates is a Barkindji Songwoman, with immense depth and heart in her music. Nancy's message is one of community; her songs build bridges and look at the human condition both up close and afar. Nancy's stunning perspectives often outline that, though we as people as incredibly diverse, we all have a strength when we learn what we all have in common. Nancy's shows have taken audiences to great depths and greater heights by cutting straight to the listener's core.

Also joining will be the incredible singer songwriter Ella Ion, who too has released a share of singles throughout 2022. Ella's range as an artist extends from delicate solo musings to big folk productions, and has delighted audiences with her incredible ability to command a room's attention with her sparse, yet fluent indie folk songs when playing solo.
