Adelaide's premier traditional African Dance and drum ensemble are celebrating their 10 year anniversary of entertaining Adelaide and the whole of Australia.We're bringing you a massive night of celebration supported by some of Adelaide's best world music groups - bringing flavours from around the world: Manadi Lopa, La Bomba, Sambatuka, and Rodrigo Soafer.

Adelaide based Sun Of Africa Drum & Dance Ensemble was created in November 2011 by Jean-marc Agbogba, and the original team are largely intact. We are passionately dedicated to the art of West African dance, rhythm, music and performance. Specialising in the music and dance of Ivory Coast, and Guinea/Mali we create powerful and energising artistic performances bursting with colour and movement!

We believe in the importance of culture, community and education. Our aim is to highlight the importance of unity among every generation through sharing African culture. Together, our hope is to reflect the harmony, delight and multiculturalism that African culture has to offer by giving people the opportunity to be a part of this inclusive community.

Our goal by Celebrating these 10 years is to bring local artists, musicians and performers together to encourage and educate others through music, dance and entertainment!
