The Strength2Strength program aims to build resilience in families while building upon pre-existing skills and strengths.
This program offers:
A space to share lived experiences and stories with others
Explore ways others have managed and coped with the challenges of spinal cord injury
Facilitates collaborative relationships.
Explores strategies for restoring balance and 'recharging the batteries'
Offers information on social and economic resources available

This is a 5-session online program. You will get the most benefit through your commitment in attending all of the sessions.

Presenters
Candice Care-Unger (she/her), Specialist Social Worker & Clinical Psychosexual Therapist
Candice is an award-winning clinician-researcher, specialist social worker and clinical psychosexual therapist, having worked in hospital and community rehabilitation settings since 2006 across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States. She currently serves as the NSW Branch President of the Society of Australian Sexologists (SAS).
Nicola Guy (she/her), Specialist Social Worker
Nicola has over 20 years of experience providing social work services across a variety of healthcare and community settings, including rehabilitation, cancer care, children’s palliative care, and intellectual disability.

You will need an electronic device with video and audio features (phone, tablet, laptop) to join the group, all sessions are held using Microsoft Teams. A link for the group will be emailed to you after you have registered.
