Navigating Employment Law Changes: Essential Insights for Business Owners and HR Professionals
Have you kept up with the myriad of changes in employment law? Join legal and HR experts Rachel Pierro from Adelaide Aspire and Kylie Dunn from DMAW Lawyers for an informative session designed for business owners and HR professionals.
In 2024, Australia’s employment landscape is evolving, and understanding these changes is crucial for your business. Whilst the newly introduced “right to disconnect” laws have received attention, a number of other changes have seemingly flown under the radar. The criteria for distinguishing between employees and independent contractors has changed yet again, and there are new rights available to labour hire workers and casuals. Plus, there is a new duty to prevent sex-based harassment in every workplace.
Join Kylie and Rachel for an interactive discussion on how these changes will impact your business.
Don’t miss your chance to stay informed and ensure your business remains compliant in this shifting environment.
