    Event description

The SA Woman Breakfast Series is back for 2024!

Set in the picturesque Gilbert Suite at the Adelaide Convention Centre, the SA Woman Breakfast Series events are a must-attend on the SA Woman calendar. Following the ongoing theme of "Learning Through Conversation", this year's events will focus on 'The Visibility of Women'.

You will hear from a panel of three incredible women in South Australia as they share their insights, experiences, and expertise on just how powerful visibility is for women in the workforce and business landscape.

Takeaway lessons and ideas on how to increase your visibility and gain a deeper understanding of the different types of visibility challenges women face throughout our state - especially women who are fighting for visibility from a place of intersectionality.

Our Breakfast Series events are known for being an open and honest discussion on issues that women are facing and this year is shaping up to be a fascinating series!

Grier Neilson, Founder Bohemian Ekko Creative and Flock 50
I have more than 30 years of industry experience spanning beauty, hair, makeup, body painting, editorial, film, TV, wardrobe and photography.

In 2022, whilst doing a workshop I came to realise that women aged 50 plus are the least photographed demographic. As I was coming up to celebrating my own 50th I felt a resonance and immediate desire change that narrative. As if the universe sang in agreement, each aspect aligned to foster this vision and bring about Flock50.

I have raised two wonderful children as a single mumma, wrestled with dyslexia and at times, felt a stifling absence of self-love and acceptance. I know what it is to disappear from the photos and images that capture the significant moments in our lives as women and I am passionate about changing that dynamic. I am a tender and fierce woman of many adventures, curiosities and creativity. I am a lover of life; seeking and creating positivity in all I do. As an empath, I’m a joyful freedom fighter; and someone who loves to straighten other women’s crowns. I work and coach woman of all ages through my photographic experience, Flock50 is apassion and now annual project. I have so much passion about helping woman thrive and see their own beauty.
