Sacred Chocolate Ceremony
Event description
Join us as we gather in circle in the lead up to the magical portal of Samhain - a time when the veil between the seen and unseen realms is thinnest and is a great opportunity to connect with our higher selves, guides, ancestors and our deep inner knowing. A time to come into realignment and connection with our visions for life whilst integrating the lessons of the past.
During this ceremony we will be supported by the heart-opening, nurturing, healing and mother-like properties of Ceremonial Cacao as we journey around the sacred directions (that's right - the North, South, East and West kind). Each direction has a unique essence to it and throughout the ceremony I will guide you to connect to the feeling of each direction, contemplating what they are each bringing up for you in your life so that you may take this awareness forward with you. This is a journey inwards - to connect with your intuition and move from the mind to the heart, so that you may live a more heart-led life. A call to surrender and trust the wisdom of your soul. It is possible to receive incredible insights from just one ceremony, and it is also magical to see the subtle yet powerful shifts that can occur from regular sitting in ceremony in this way, which is why I offer these ceremonies on a regular basis (usually monthly).
My intention for this ceremony is that you leave feeling a positive shift in your energy, feeling connected to yourself on a deeper level, with your mind a little less busy, seeing the beauty in all that you are and having reverence for yourself. That you will feel clearer on your dreams and visions for the future, knowing that they are within reach and having received guidance from your higher self on what next steps to take in order to be in alignment with your soul's path.
The event will most likely run for 1.5 hours, but I like to allow extra time just incase! We are on divine timing when we are in ceremony so we allow extra time to flow and let go.
Please bring a comfy cushion to sit on and a water bottle. You can also bring along a journal and a pen if you feel called. I will have some ceremonial cacao blocks available to purchase if you feel called to begin a practice with her after the ceremony.
The OM Movement is located upstairs with an entrance on George St, in between Sleeping Giant and Pet Barn. There's is plenty of parking in nearby streets (e.g. Railway Pde) and it is less than 1km walk from Hornsby train station.
