Sacred Descent: Honoring Grief In An Age of Collapse
Description
Daily, we are witnessing the collapse of ecosystems and culture–virtually through screens, and sometimes physically through our immediate environment.
Ice caps are melting, humans are being hunted and imprisoned, innocent children are being separated from parents and becoming casualties of wars or genocides, coral reefs are dying at an ever increasing rate, climate catastrophes are destroying communities and our sense of safety and home.
This witnessing, while necessary and important, affects our bodies, our minds, and our spirits.
Maybe you’ve been feeling a gnawing discomfort or a heartbreaking hopelessness. Maybe it’s something you haven’t even been able to describe. Regardless, it’s likely affecting your life, your connections, your sense of purpose.
We are not meant to process and integrate this level of grief alone.
In this 3.5 hour ceremony, Sacred Descent: Honoring Grief In an Age of Collapse, we will connect with our humanity and each other, explore our deep grief, and access hope and inspired ways of moving forward.
We invite you to retreat into this sacred presence and community where we can feel, process, mourn, witness, and dream into a new world through ceremony, movement, shamanic journeying, meditation, ritual, and song.
We believe everyone should have accessibility to healing spaces, and at the same time we believe in reciprocity. To meet both of these priorities we have created tiered pricing.
Please reach out if you feel called to attend, but the lowest pricing ($55) feels burdensome.
We encourage BIPOC participants to choose the donation button, or attend for free.
