Event description

Sacred Earth: Cacao and Ancestral Pottery: An Immersive Workshop for Women

A unique and immersive experience held amidst the serene natural surroundings of Crown Reserve, where we will explore the concept of ancestral ceramics, pre-Columbian construction techniques, and the deep-rooted philosophy of the ancient Andes.

We will craft our own ceremonial mugs using traditional hand-building methods, designed specifically for your own rituals. This meditative, hands-on experience invites you to reconnect with your hands and inner self through the sacred art of clay, while honoring the spirit of the land and the wisdom of ancient cultures.

Guided by the philosophy of Andean traditions, this workshop blends creativity, mindfulness, and ancestral knowledge—offering not just a piece of pottery, but a ceremonial vessel imbued with intention and meaning for your cacao ceremonies.

To deepen the experience, we will also have a sacred cacao ceremony, based in the Mayan cosmovision. The cacao ceremony will ground us in the transformative power of nature and spirit.

Included in the Experience:

  • One handcrafted ceremonial mug for your rituals

  • All materials provided

  • Glossy clear glaze to preserve the natural color of our earthy clay

  • 2.30hs  guided workshop

  • All kiln firings included

  • Sacred cacao ceremony, based on Mayan cosmovision

This is more than just a pottery workshop—it's an opportunity to reconnect with ancient wisdom, creativity, and the earth itself. Whether you're a seasoned artisan or new to the craft, Sacred Earth: Cacao and Ancestral Pottery offers a deeply spiritual and enriching experience, blending art, ritual, and mindfulness.

We can't wait to meet you,

Lia and Carolina!

YOUR HOSTS

Lia,
born in Lima, Peru, is a passionate ceramic artist and healer who discovered the therapeutic power of clay during a stressful period in her life. She studied interior architecture before turning to ceramics, where she found solace and a deep connection to herself. Lia spent time living in the Peruvian Amazon, where Indigenous communities shared ancestral techniques and sacred rituals, which greatly influenced her approach to ceramics. Her journey through shamanism and master plants further shaped her mission to use ceramics as a healing tool. Now based in Sydney, Lia shares her knowledge and transformative experiences at her pop-up studio, blending art, healing, and ancestral wisdom.

Carolina, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is a yoga and meditation teacher, as well as a space holder who works with heart medicine — Cacao. Her gentle, healing energy guides others back to remembrance, helping them reconnect with their true selves. For the past three years, Carolina has been accompanying others through deep personal processes with the medicine of cacao, holding space for ceremonies, full moon gatherings, and women’s circles, all rooted in connection, presence, and ritual.

Her journey has taken her to Peru and Guatemala, where she deepened her practice and completed a Cacao Facilitator Training rooted in the Mayan Cosmovision. These experiences continue to shape the way she holds space, weaving ancestral wisdom with embodied presence.

Carolina creates transformative experiences because she believes in their power to shift, awaken, and bring people closer to themselves and to one another.
