Dance for the Planet!
On this night we honour the planet and its earthly delights, to pay homage through dance, a prayer if you will with sweat, breath and movement, but more than that we align our intention through a spiritual practice and ecstatic dance is just that!
The music on this night will be ritual inspired, folk, celtic, ethnic and ancient rhythms, drum beats and melodies plucked from heart strings of old, songs weaved into soulful presence and a knees up worthy of a tribal gathering!
Gaia is a gift to all that inhabit it and the dance that is inspired will emerge naturally from the marrow in your bones. We celebrate life when we dance, we leave the past and surrender what the future may bring, to collectively turn up in the present and move heart and soul for mother earth.

Dancing Dhevas is a free form practice that invites
you to engage in life as only you can, to move with such authenticity
that it liberates the bubbles of ecstasy. We are an ever growing group
dedicated to dancing with passion and authenticity, there is no talking
and yet so much is communicated on the dance floor. Come join our
move-ment!
Come as you are or bring a friend, we share a dance floor of like
minded souls who move as one and celebrate life in all its complexities.
No right or wrong and no set moves, open up to a world of possibilities beyond your imagination, with you, the dance floor and great music!
6:30 to 9pm, DOORS SHUT at 7:00 no entry after then.
Please bring a water bottle, put away phones and shoes before entering the dance floor.

No shoes, we dance bare foot to ground and connect with the earth, freeing your feet will free the body as well as the mind.
No talking on the dance floor, the space becomes safe to express and feel into your dance when the mind pauses the need to communicate through words. Keep the space safe for each other.
NEW TO DANCING DHEVAS...
The ecstatic dance is a process of delving into your own individual, original dance, it is so unique to you and how
you move that it can not be reproduced by anyone else. This gives us the freedom from constraints and judgements
so we can explode our potential to move until it unleashes the dancer within. The room takes on a different energy
as everyone drops into their dance and natural ecstasy is reached.
We have been teaching Conscious dance in WA for 14 years, trained in various modalities and taught numerous classes, workshops and retreats. The essence never changes, the purity and simplicity humbles us each time we step onto the dance floor and we are ever grateful to the community around us and the earth that holds us.
