CACAO CEREMONY | ECSTATIC DANCE SET | SOUND HEALING

**This will be the last SACRED SESSION of 2024 before we break for the holiday season - make sure to join us!**

Join us for a celebration of the full moon, journeying with the medicines of ceremony, music, movement, cacao, and sound healing, with the aim of lifting your spirits, putting you in touch with a higher state of consciousness, and experiencing a freedom like no other.

The event will open with a cacao ceremony, following traditional Andean cosmology and opening of the Medicine Wheel, creating a sacred and safe container for the journey to commence. You will deeply connect with this heart-opening, non-hallucinogenic plant medicine, setting an intention for the experience. A Cacao ceremony is a ritual in which the ancient plant medicine of cacao is used with intentions of healing, celebration, mourning, connection, offerings, guidance, changing perceptions or states of consciousness, and spiritual practice.

You will then be guided through a gentle pranayama exercise (gentle breath regulation), suitable for beginners, to regulate your nervous system and drop you into your body. As the cacao moves through you, Angie (aka DJ AnJel) will guide you to embody the music through a live-mixed sound journey, being taken to experience catharsis and leave it all on the dance floor.

You will gently come back into stillness and experience a nourishing, live sound healing by Megan McKenzie. Megan is a Pranic Healing Practitioner and Sound Healing Practitioner, and looks forward to sharing the soothing power of sound with you. With her expertise and nurturing presence, she aims to facilitate profound healing experiences for individuals seeking balance, clarity, and inner peace.

After ceremony is closed, you will have the chance to stay and share your experience or any insights in circle, to journal if you wish, or just to connect with others in the group.

A beautiful cacao ceremony to connect deeply with this ancient, non-hallucinogenic plant medicine, supported by the opening of the Medicine Wheel
A nourishing live sound healing, with instruments from the Tibetan singing bowl to the enchanting melodies of crystal chimes for deep relaxation and healing
A deep and joyous reconnection with Self and body in a way you didn't realise you needed

CACAO CEREMONY:

It is usually best if you refrain from eating for a couple of hours before consuming cacao, to experience its full benefits
Please drink plenty of water during the day prior to the ceremony, and after the ceremony has closed as well

Cacao is generally a fairly mild medicine, but there are a few cases where it may not be suitable for you:

If you take high doses of Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs)
If you have a heart conditions: caution is required because of increased heart rate and the vasodilation effects of cacao
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please let us know in the checkout question, so that we can adjust your dose for you

TEA OPTION:

If you would like to join but don't wish to drink cacao, please know that you are so welcome! We will prepare delicious lemon myrtle tea for you to enjoy during the ceremony. Please choose this option at checkout.

A bottle of water
A yoga mat for the sound healing
A blanket to keep warm during sound healing
A journal and pen if you wish
An open mind :)

Please wear comfy clothes that you can move freely in and arrive 5 mins early to settle into the space.
