Kundalini Awakening is often described as a profound spiritual experience, one that can shift a person’s entire perception of who they are and life.

At its core, Kundalini refers to a dormant spiritual energy residing at the base of the spine, symbolised as a coiled serpent.

Through certain practices — such as yoga, meditation, breath work, devotion, or sometimes even spontaneously — this energy can rise through the body’s energy centres (chakras), moving upward to the crown of the head and beyond.

Many traditions regard this awakening as the opening of deep wisdom, intuition, creativity, and connection with the divine.

People often report heightened states of awareness, inner bliss, waves of energy flowing through the body, or mystical experiences.

At the same time, Kundalini energy can be intense. If it awakens suddenly or without guidance, some may feel overwhelmed — physically, emotionally, or mentally.

This is why teachers often emphasize grounding, self-care, and the support of experienced guidance. Awakening can bring both challenge and bliss, yet when harmonised, the release of Kundalini energy can support balance and integration in both body and mind.

You will learn the simple fundamentals of this practice, which will give you the crucial power of feeling safe and comfortable in your body.

This workshop will begin with a deep meditation guided by John, cultivating awareness of bodily sensations and gently preparing body and mind for further exploration with Wendy.

Wendy will then guide participants through an intuitive exploration of the body’s chakra system and Kundalini energy, helping to awaken flow, balance, and deep integration with life.

Please bring a yoga mat and or cushion for your comfort.
