Hosted by Red Earth and Sacred Heart College Kyneton, this information evening will take you on a journey around the Red Earth immersion offered to Lake Mungo in May 2025. We will discuss in detail the itinerary, maps of where students will get to go, logistics, our safety protocol, and the next steps required to enroll your child in the program.

This immersion is about giving students access to a world and places that they can't access outside of this setting. Welcomed on private homelands by a large family of Traditional Owners, students learn about the rich culture of the land directly from its custodians. Whether they are hiking to sacred sites, throwing a fishing line in the creek, kicking a footy with local kids, or sharing stories around the campfire, the goal is always to facilitate personal connections and allow students to develop a first-hand understanding of the challenges and beauty of modern life in remote Indigenous communities.
