Sacred Mayan Cacao + Somatic Breathwork Journey
Event description
Come heal in community in this multidimensional healing journey that combines the sacred plant medicine of cacao shared in the traditional Mayan way and somatic movement + breathwork. Sprinkled with some hands on healing, reiki healing, and a musical and sound healing journey.
This is a super potent evening of healing that combines several powerful modalities that can very well stand alone.
You are led by two powerful healers that come from over 30 years of combined healing experience - not to mention lifetimes of ancestral wisdom.
Veri Hart will guide us in gentle breathwork, perform reiki healing and share cacao the way the Mayans share, in it's most sacred form.
April Fortes will guide us in journaling, Somatic movement, a powerful breathwork technique that detoxifies the body, mind & soul and releases stuck energy and emotions from the nervous system, and will end with a guided meditation & sound healing to integrate.
Together, the experience helps to release old patterns that no longer serves you, creating space for healing to take place and for new life and higher vibrations to emerge.
According to the Mayan Calendar, the energy of the day is B'atz'. B'atz' is the first of 20 energies, so it represents the beginning. It is considered to be the energy that is connected to the thread that created the weaving of time, space, reality, and everything in existence. B'atz' is the origin, the womb of creation, the one who took nothing and turned it into everything.
With this energy, we harness the power to be creative. To be creative is our primal way of being.
