NOTE: 26th March - Full Moon Lunar Eclipse Fire Ceremony & Sound Healing

Join Jodie at the beautiful Dharmashala yoga studio in North Bondi for a soulful shamanic ceremony within sacred space, releasing imprints and patterns that no longer define us, letting go of all that has kept us bound to these stories and creating space to call in fresh energy in support of the new.

In quiet contemplation, set your intentions with the energy of fire, the path of rapid transformation, engaging in personal sacred alchemy to change the brain through ancient medicine ways.

Relax into presence with gentle drumming, breathwork and meditation, coming into restful alignment with the pulse of the earth.

Then immerse in a restorative sound bath, harnessing the vibration of 7 quartz crystal bowls attuned to the frequency of your chakras, inducing harmony and coherence within your nervous system, immune system and energy centres.

If your weekly commitments leave you feeling drained, you are seeking deep relaxation, healing or meditation, looking to shift something deep within, step into a new space, or you are simply feeling overwhelmed in the currents and needing support, this sacred healing session is for you.

Some mats and bolsters are available however you may like to bring your own mat. You may also like to bring a cushion, blanket, eye pillow or warm socks for your comfort as well as a water bottle for rehydration after the ceremony.

Please arrive ten minutes early. The door will be open from 7.20pm to allow time to get settled before the session begins at 7.30pm.

We look forward to welcoming you into healing ceremony.

** Teenagers are welcome with an adult or to come alone if they have previously attended a similar session.

About Jodie

Jodie Gien is a committed mindfulness teacher and shamanic energy medicine practitioner with a longstanding personal practice of her own. Having grown up with Vispassana meditation, degrees in Law and Arts (Psychology) from UNSW, and committed to being of service, she led a team for many years as a Human Rights and Discrimination Lawyer, Mediator and Trainer at the Australian Human Rights Commission before family circumstances inspired her to take leave from the legal profession to deepen her personal practice.

Passionate about fostering human potential through mindfulness, she trained as an Executive Coach with Moreton Executive Coaching and Results Coaching and as a Mindfulness Teacher with Oxford University’s Mindfulness in Schools Project, Nature Care College and the esteemed Gawler Foundation in Australia.  For the past twelve years Jodie has worked extensively with legal and corporate organisations, schools, athletes and not for profits, to teach the skills of mindfulness and develop the self-awareness underpinning the qualities of mindful resilience and leadership.

Jodie's clients include Microsoft, Apple, Atlassian, the Commonwealth Bank, BT, Westpac, ING (UK), Aurecon, NSW College of Law, NSW Transport, UNSW Student Counsellors, FilePro Legal, McGrath Estate Agents, Melbourne University Business School, Circle In, Dress for Success, Sense Event, CHE Proximity, Blue Mountains City Council, SCEGGS, Hills Grammar, Australian Independent Schools, Montessori School, Blue Mountains Government Schools, Bondi Public School, Masada College, Champagnat Catholic College, Emanuel School and the Australian Netball Association. Jodie has presented at numerous legal and corporate events and has written articles on mindfulness for FilePro Legal, Wellbeing Magazine and other publications.

Encouraged by the enormous potential this work has for deep healing, Jodie continued her quest to further expand her insight and understanding of spiritual practice, being drawn to Peru in 2018 to study Shamanic Energy Medicine with the Q'ero, descendants of the Incan Shamans of the High Andes. Jodie completed her formal training at the Four Winds Society in Chile with Alberto Villoldo and continues her studies with the Inca Medicine School in Cuzco. Jodie still teaches mindfulness and also runs shamanic healing and mindfulness retreats, despacho and fire ceremonies, rites of passage ceremonies, one-on-one shamanic healing sessions and sound healing.
