This class is suitable for beginners. There are no postural goals.

In Embodied Yin Yoga we combine supported and long held stretches, stillness and intuitive movement with an attitude of loving kindness and open awareness to ourselves. The focus is on relaxing the muscles to access our connective tissues or fascia network (which correlates with the meridian/nadi channels) and stimulate energy flow there through compression/stretching and gliding. The use of fascia release balls is an additional tool helping in that.

This stimulation can have a physical and mental-emotional dimension to it. We digest, integrate and return our soma system into a state of flowing presence, rewire and replenish our nervous system in a unique wqy.

The invitation in this class is to BE rather than to DO. Time eventually expands and slows down for you to bath in your deepest sense of self, while reconnecting, enhancing and freeing the natural rhythms of energy and consciousness.
