Sacred Hapeh and Shamanic Journey 7th May
Description
Facilitated by Ankesh Chopra & Lawrence Hand
About the Experience
Step into an intimate ceremonial space where ancient Amazonian tradition meets grounded shamanic practice. This offering weaves the sacred medicine of Hapè — a traditional tobacco snuff used for centuries to clear the mind and align the spirit — with the deep rhythms of the shamanic drum and the healing resonance of sound.
Through one intentional serving of Hapè, you’ll be guided into a meditative journey beyond the ordinary — a space of stillness, clarity, and communion with spirit.
Anchored by sound and ceremony, this experience offers a powerful opportunity to cleanse energetic blockages, ground your awareness, and reconnect with your inner guidance.
Ankesh's and Lawrence’s journey with Hapé began around four years ago, guided by local shamans. Over the years, they have sat with shamans in Mexico and the Andes of Peru, deepening their understanding of this sacred medicine and its healing properties served with love, respect and clear intention.
Small group numbers ensure a safe, supported, and respectful environment for all participants.

Why It Matters
In a fast-paced world, the mind grows noisy and the spirit restless.
This ceremony offers a moment to pause — to breathe deeply, cleanse, and listen within.
Here, you are invited to release what no longer serves and to remember the quiet wisdom that lives beneath the surface.
About The Facilitators
Ankesh Chopra
IG @verde_connected_healing
I’m a facilitator and guide devoted to wellness for the modern world.
My path began with my own healing journey — I grew up in a home where, on the surface, everything looked fine: comfort, opportunity, stability. I had the job, the house, the family — yet something was missing. That quiet emptiness eventually pulled me into darkness and disconnection.
That descent became my turning point — the beginning of a journey through healing, ceremony, and travel across India, Guatemala, Peru, and Mexico. Along the way, I learned from local healers and wisdom keepers who taught me how to reconnect with breath, earth, and spirit.
For the past four years, I’ve been facilitating healing circles that weave together breathwork, ecstatic dance, cacao, sound, hapeh, and other earth-based modalities. My approach is both spiritual and grounded — drawing from real-world experience in the corporate world and a deep respect for the human experience.
Today, I guide others to remember who they are beneath the noise — to lead with presence, live with love, and find strength through vulnerability.

I once chased all the things our world tells us will make life meaningful - achievement, recognition, comfort, empty pleasure - only to find the void in their wake. That hollowness became my teacher and still is. Through my own dark nights and the guidance of ancestors and wisdom traditions from Peru, Mexico, China, and beyond, I discovered how to navigate the unconscious mind and the shadow we all carry. As a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Shamanic Practitioner, I now blend modern psychology, neuroscience, and ancient medicine to help others confront their inner landscapes and release what no longer serves, creating a life that is grounded, connected, and full of joy. Your inner world shapes your outer world, and your outer world reflects your inner world. We welcome you to a safe space to explore the man in the mirror - with honesty, courage, and no judgement.
